TheGreek Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 ...and don't think "fits in a guitar case" is valid. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/225337219836?hash=item3477251afc:g:vwsAAOSwuRRjucFR&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA4OJTViTvGU2kMIrGRblZhiA0gIBbsXG0L1kfrivt2sILYLgKuWn02qEMCJZIJ%2FV0ZpbUlMhYqDsJ2hR74ZMZp3l5isWQp0H%2BvH%2FxUv%2F08FlGlciseLUiaQrl76Yuno8qMuBKAkb4GTkH2FE2HGePKvNDa%2BCbCtn2W6W9mF8lvzFxDtqI7Sbh6ZHuJMbQA496CS3B8o91kocXOUBGoM0VsdZxgh3qzGGG4d2QVnyh3TykozVf%2FbKatu%2FjWBNKGMe5cCOGvCJPneocgFeKFd2fULuE5ZlsIUf4hhDB0y0UdFYH|tkp%3ABk9SR5jP59PQYQ Quote
Orbs Posted February 25, 2023 Posted February 25, 2023 😆 Yes, a real 'vintage' beaut. I might just pass on that even if it does fit into a case....... 1 Quote

Woodinblack Posted February 25, 2023 Posted February 25, 2023 I think the refinishing is done well Quote
fleabag Posted February 25, 2023 Posted February 25, 2023 He mentioned the rear tuning peg cover missing, but glaringly doesnt mention the 2 washers missing on the tuners on the front. Nasty piece of modding on what was probably a good bass Quote
Dan Dare Posted February 26, 2023 Posted February 26, 2023 Is there any excuse for it? How about insanity? Quote
Bassassin Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 I think it's a butchered Ibanez Blazer or Roadstar II RB630. The only original parts are the neck, body & neckplate, which dates the remains to January 1983. I get the impression whoever did this probably didn't have the original parts. It's still sh!t, though. Quote
rushbo Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 The off kilter scratchplate makes it look worse than it actually is. You could probably turn that into a nice bass, but the asking price is ridiculous. The only "vintage" parts have been severely modified (or butchered, spending on your opinion...) so to ask the best part of £250 for it seems bonkers. If it was £50 on Facebook Marketplace, I might be tempted, but as I paid £130 for a nearly new Harley Benton JP-45OP late last year, the seller may need to think again about the pricing. Quote
