fleabag
I have a bluetooth switching pedal that charges up with a USB cable. Would it be ok to leave the charger cable permanently connected to the pedal + USB charge socket so i dont have to unvelcro it from my fx board to charge it up ? itu
My Dragonfly has a battery saving function and it goes to deep sleep after certain time. I changed the 2 x AA batteries after 18 months of use, and they were still in decent condition. I do not see an issue keeping the wire connected, but the consumption has to be very low.
fleabag
From what i read about mine, it can go 48 hours continuous use on a full charge, ( batteries are in-built ) so at about 3 hours a week, approx 16 weeks use. Probably shouldnt worry about it. Edited February 26, 2023 by fleabag
tauzero
You could just leave the charger cable permanently connected to the pedal and plug it into the charger when it needs a charge.

This seems like the obvious solution to your problem. This way there will be no need to unattach the pedal from the board when needing charging, and no risk of harming the battery or pedal by leaving it charging all the time.
