bassuseruser Posted March 6, 2023 Share Posted March 6, 2023 hi, i have managed to make a temporary fix on my pbass to get sound out, I was having a problem with the bottom pickup being silent, while soldering on the pullup connectors it came back to life. I have turned the bottom pickup around because I saw a picture of another setup, i think this if for phase. So now I can play it because there is sound but the tone knob is acting strange, and not working correctly. there is no wire going to the sleeve connector of the jack socket. I have put a wire like you will see on this diagram. So now i would like to at least get the tone working better, I also have a lot of noise when removing hand from strings, the bottom pickup has a lower volume with pull up pot pushed down. the way it is set up now, the sound from the pickups is louder when pull up pot is pulled out. thank you for any advice. apparently nobody has a diagram for this setup online, so this will be the first one.
