Reggaebass
Hi all, I think you all know I play mainly reggae and dub, but I’m really enjoying simple grooves especially on my precision’s with flats for that thumpy muted sound , I’ve watched a lot of videos especially Sean Hurley and what really makes the basslines flow is the ghost notes, I’ve been practicing this a lot and I’m getting there slowly, can anyone recommend any tips and videos to check out, found this one yesterday by Ivan which is quite good and I’ve been working on this for a while
Waddo Soqable
I never actually knew what "ghost notes" were, but Doh.. discovered I'd been doing them pretty much as long as I'd been playing bass! Tbh I've never been much of a lessons (or videos) type, with something that's very much a feel or groove thing I think you have to go your own way really..
