Ok, I kind of get the basics with the Ohms but this doesn't make sense to me so I need a bit more help. Is there a book called Ohms For Dummies ?

Anyway, my amp is pictured below. Am I right in thinking I can't run two cabs from this amp unless they're 16ohm's or there about ?
Or is it as I suspect that I can run 2 x 8 ohm cabs as it doesn't say 8ohm minimum and is saying that it needs 8ohm's in each one ? Possibly someone with the same amp can answer my question. I've looked for a manual but can't find one for this amp.

Thanks in advance.

I would guess that you can run a single 8Ω cabinet from each jack (for a total of 4Ω assuming the jacks are wired in parallel), though the label isn't exactly clear.

Yeh, that's why I was hoping someone might have a manual and can make it a bit clearer. I reckon it's safe to run two 8ohm cabs through it, it doesn't make sense otherwise.

Found this manual for the Trace Mk. V gear and it says that 4Ω is the minimum impedance, so 2x 8Ω cabs should be fine:

Thanks for that, I've just bought a 4x10 (barring the sale falling through) to go with my 1x15. I did start to wonder if I could use the two of them at the same time. Can't wait to hear it fired up on full throttle :-)
