waynepunkdude
I have nearly finished all my bass projects and I fancy a change. Is it possible to make you own amp? If so what would I need in terms of tool and materials? and how much would it cost?
YouMa
You could do a simple one but i would learn a bit about electronics and constucting simple circuit boards first otherwise you are going to wind up wasting a lot of money on something that wont be very good or even work. There is loads of simple stuff on the web,try building a fuzz box or something first. waynepunkdude
Good call guys, may well make an OD pedal first. Any recommendations?

clauster
Good advice, hone your skills on something that works on 9v batteries, rather than than 240v ac. Or have a go at some speaker cabs.
Owen
Lots of fun. Zero resale. That might not be an issue, but worth bearing in mind.
