Hipshot Extenders?

She's anyone have experience of fitting and or using Hipshot extenders to drop their E to D mid gig? Can anyone decipher the huge number of models on the website?

I put one in. It was pretty simple screwdriver job. You're right - you must get the right model!

Very easy to fit, and if I’m saying that then it really must be easy. I use them as one of my bands does a couple of songs with a low D, much easier flicking the lever for this than de tuning and then retuning.

Most, if not all, of the Hipshot products have schematics on the website, so that you can make an informed purchase. However, if in doubt, drop them a line, I have always found them to be very helpful in selecting the right product.
