ashevans09
Heya, I've finally found what I'm looking for in terms of a pre amp but I just need to satisfy myself of one thing before I go ahead and buy it. It's located in the US but it has a 115V-230V switch on the back of it. If I buy this, in order to run it off UK mains do I only have to flick the switch, or is there more of a mod involved? Thanks for any help Ash
Mr. Foxen
Might be a fuse change as well, oh and a different lead.

machinehead
Since the UK supply is 50Hz and the USA is 60 HZ I'd also make sure the switching in the amp takes account of this by asking the manufacturer. Using gear on the "wrong" frequency of supply (Hz) often results in a shorter life. Some gear is rated 50/60Hz so you might be OK. Best to check though. ashevans09
Heya, Thanks for all the help, emailed ampeg and Dino says just flicking the switch is all that's required Ta! Ash
Chopthebass
My Epifani says 115v - 230v at 50/60hz. When I moved to Canada I simply flicked the switch and it works fine. I think this is the case with most if not all digital amps on the market.
