uncle psychosis Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 (edited) So. I bought this new only a few months ago on something of a whim (mainly because its gorgeous). Then, I went and impulse bought a P bass, so as much as I like this something has to go... Wonderfully light and well balanced. Neck is quite chunky, but in a good way. Its a wonderful metallic green, including right up the back of the neck. Quite tricky to photograph (sorry for all the reflections). When it arrived - the strings were crap and so was the tone control. I have put Newtone rounds on it and also a Ki0gon VBT wiring loom, including a replacement barrel jack. The tone control is much better now. Here's the spec, etc: https://www.epiphone.com/en-US/Electric-Bass/EPIM96326/Wanderlust-Metallic-Green Collection from Fife (Burntisland) or I can meet you at Haymarket in Edinburgh during the week (I'm a commuter). Asking £280. £200 to a basschatter. Really not looking for trades although I could (perhaps, maybe) be tempted by some kind of Bass VI or budget fretless. £200 is a massive price drop but its just making me sad sat in the corner there so I'd like it to go to a better home. ***SOLD*** Edited October 24, 2023 by uncle psychosis SOLD 8
Rayman Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 I bloody love these, and with those little upgrades it’s a better bass than the current ones. 1
uncle psychosis Posted May 1, 2023 Author Posted May 1, 2023 Having previously said no trades I do kind of fancy a Bass VI or a fretless (or maybe even an EUB)....
uncle psychosis Posted May 27, 2023 Author Posted May 27, 2023 £280 to a basschatter. Would also consider trades as above, or a Boss Gx-100
uncle psychosis Posted June 16, 2023 Author Posted June 16, 2023 Would be up for trades on this - something jazz flavoured / danelectro flavoured / offset flavoured perhaps? Could add a bit of cash too...
uncle psychosis Posted July 23, 2023 Author Posted July 23, 2023 Found a box for this so shipping is now available at cost.
uncle psychosis Posted August 19, 2023 Author Posted August 19, 2023 If you're a basschatter and you can collect this you can have it for £240....
