Positive Grid Spark Mini

I've had a Spark, not the mini version, for about a year... I can't find the review I did of it but long and short of it is that of you get some decent settings downloaded off the app then it opens up, the settings that come as it is aren't great. Despite its size it's good for practicing with bass, even five string. For electric guitar it's very good, can't remember if I had this while I still had an electro acoustic.

I've not yet used it to record but I had a Blackstar BEAM which is very similar and loved how easy that was to record into Audacity on my PC.

Hope that helps, or if there's anything specific I'll try my best to help... I've not gone deep into the functions of it but I do give it a lot of use.

I have a spark, it is great and I use it a lot.

I almost bought a spark mini two days ago as it was on a weekend offer of £159 and I like the battery thing but once you got to checkout it was £196 and that was more than I wanted to pay, I figured wouldn't be great for bass anyway with those speakers. The spark isn't really, it is just good enough, but in headphones obviously fine

After much research, I landed on a Boss Dual Cube Bass LX (Gear4music had an nearly new at a discount which has arrived and is totally like new!) ... its' battery powered and despite the quoted figure of of 10W, it has been blowing my ears and would disturb the neighbours! had I not turned it down!

Wee, light and powerful ... with some rather cool f/x to boot.
