mumra Posted March 27, 2023 Share Posted March 27, 2023 Hello to all.Finally i've got a 70's maya jazzbass. I can mention a noise through my amp. When i turn off the master tone knob the noise stops. Happy Jack Posted April 3, 2023 Share Posted April 3, 2023 It's almost certainly electrical noise caused by poor shielding or a bad earth connection. Rolling off the tone reduces the hum and makes it less noticeable, but it's still there, and of course you've lost an important part of your signal.
