Paul McCartney's original Hofner, whereabouts?

Just came across this Youtube video, re Paul's original Hofner Violin bass.
I found it quite interesting, and was just wondering whether someone, somewhere has unknowingly got it in their attic?

EDIT: I was unaware of the whole back-story / theories

That said, the guy should stop showing the wrong bass in permanence: The 61 model has 2 neck pickups.

To be honest, the only reason I spotted it was my Better Half had the TV on, so I waa watching the vid with the volume off and the subtitles on. Just a happy accident really! 😂

Didn't know they were sought after, but then I've never understood the fascination of these things....the Delorean DMC of the bass world.
