Hipshot tuning peg replacement

Hi all,

 

I bought a set of tuning pegs (Hipshot HB6C 1/2) as a direct replacement for my P bass but they seem very small.

 

Have they sent me the 3/8” by accident?

Ultralite tuners are smaller in general.

 

But as for the post size - get a ruler and measure it.

Didn’t have a ruler with small enough markings to hand but they fit after a long battle getting the old ferrules out 😅
