WAYNESWORLD
Anyone out there able to help. Need to by pass / eliminate the bypass switch so bass is always in active mode. The toggle I have is broken. Can’t seem to find a replacement. Plus the original was noisy on use.If possible a suggestion of which wires to connect to achieve this. Think I know but need conformation by all you guys with more experience. Edited April 28, 2023 by WAYNESWORLD
itu
That switch cannot be so special. Read the codes from it and find a new one. What do you mean by a noisy switch? Snaps? Is this bass from Ibanez?
Downunderwonder
I stumble at which are the inputs and which the outputs going from your switch to the main board and the EQ and back to the switch. It would be very easy for it to never work again if I was doing the job!
Matt P
from the diagram it looks like the switch is part of a circuit board so bypassing might not be so easy, can you get photos of the actual part? it might be a case of simply bridging some connections on the board Matt
