Anyone out there able to help. Need to by pass / eliminate the bypass switch so bass is always in active mode. The toggle I have is broken. Can’t seem to find a replacement. Plus the original was noisy on use.If possible a suggestion of which wires to connect to achieve this. Think I know but need conformation by all you guys with more experience.

That switch cannot be so special. Read the codes from it and find a new one.

 

What do you mean by a noisy switch? Snaps?

 

Is this bass from Ibanez?

from the diagram it looks like the switch is part of a circuit board so bypassing might not be so easy, can you get photos of the actual part? it might be a case of simply bridging some connections on the board

Thanks folks for the replies.This was only going to be for interim to try out in an old spare guitar.until my East arrived. As all my bass’s have East pre amps. Thought this may be a simple thing. No probs. Thanks again for taking the time to answer.Appreciate it.
