Is the case originally made by Bird Bros (located in Rochdale in the early '80s)?  If so, I have one that is very similar - they're incredibly well-made and protective

I dont know if this one was. It’s very similar to the Bird Bros case I had in the 70s. I recall mine had a bird bros logo on it.
