Those all valve Nexus heads look a real bargain at the price. 
I tried the all valve route with a Handbox, but found it under powered. 
The Nexus looks like a kind of British version of the Mesa one- at a fraction of the cost

It basically is. They both run on 8 KT88 power valves.
