hooky_lowdown Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 (edited) Does anyone know what size screws are needed for a Fender hi mass bridge? To screws the bridge down, not saddle grub screws. 🤔 Edited May 5, 2023 by hooky_lowdown Quote
TheGreek Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 I thought they were a straight swap so standard Fender size whatever that is. Quote
PaulThePlug Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 Yep... but if ya building a Bitsa, you won't have the original screws... Quote
Reggaebass Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 On strings direct ,if you look at the bridge description there’s a link for the screws which gives the size as 5 X 1" Quote

Owen Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 If you get 3.6mm x 27mm then the tone will be more better. This is a joke. 1 Quote
Lfalex v1.1 Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 I'd rummage through my screw tub and use the biggest screws that would fit through the bridge plate holes and not be so long as to go right through the body or split it. I'm assuming the bridge didn't come with screws. My Badass II did, but I re-used the original BBOT screws as they were more substantial. Quote
