la bam
Some bands have bassists pretty synonymous with a specific bass, but what would you all say U2s Adam Clayton is most recognised with? I really dont know on this one.

warwickhunt
Off the top of my head I'd have said P bass but then I remember seeing them live and he was using a J bass... then memory kicked in and my earliest recollection might have been with a Ric. These days it appears that it's whatever he can get for free! Edited May 13, 2023 by warwickhunt

Waddo Soqable
Didn't he have a phase of daft shaped looking ones? Maybe thought it made him more "interesting"

Maybe thought it made him more "interesting" He had the Warwick Reverso but he also had that weird V... which possibly lessened his weirdness. He also used the Jack Cassidy bass and iirc back in the day the Ibanez Musician as per Sting.

leroydiamond
I had a bass that used to belong to AC. For me that was no big deal. It was a real players bass, a 1965 jazz. I sold it on several years after purchasing it, to a player who works with a major act and he confirmed, that indeed it was once belonged to AC.
