Torx or Assy. Or a slightly filed hex.

Brunt force and ignorance!!

 

Force on the next size up key and throw the nut away once off.

 

Alternatively you could try the next size down and Araldite.

I'm assuming that the Sire is clockwise to tighten the truss rod.
