Rubbersoul
I recently replaced my old gear with one of these wee amps. Used it for a recording session yesterday and WOW! Absolutely blown away by the sound of this.
Lozz196
How do you find it in a live situation, is it powerful enough?
Rubbersoul
I haven't had it live yet so that's something to look forward to! That said, we record live in the room so it was more or less band conditions and I had no trouble being heard (we tend to play loud lol).
pbasspecial
I have one too. It’s a great combo. I use it on my jam nights. Great tone. I’ve even managed to make an extn speaker out of an old studio 12 combo. However, it’s plenty loud enough on its own! 1
Linus27
I'm considering one of these also along with the Ampeg Rocket 210 and Fender Rumble 500 v2. Am I right in thinking that the Ashdown 210 is 300 watts so about 150 - 200 watts on its own and 300 watts with an extension cab?? Lozz196
Yes that’s right, when I spoke with Ashdown they confirmed that, the 1x15 version delivers the full 300 and doesn’t have an ext cab facility.
