Has anyone ever thrown away a set of flats off a bass?  No, I thought not.

Ergo, every set of flat wound strings ever produced is still in existence.  Bass players who use flats are the ultimate eco-warrior... just saying!  ;)

Good point, but then it's a well known fact that suspension bridges are built using recycled roundwounds, so if everyone used flats we wouldn't have any suspension bridges.

Fun Fact: The Forth suspension bridge is where the term "Suspended Forth" comes from.

I've got seven new sets of flats sitting around in case I need them. I reckon that's a minimum of 140 years' worth.

Why don’t you rent some out? That’s quite a popular business so I believe.

I think AI will automatically change them to advanced prototype controlled by a mini chip inside.

He might have difficulty levering the cover off the battery compartment tho...

The new prototype will be covered by a natural human flesh, small hands, arms. It will start automatical changing in 2035. All AA will be automaticaly changed to new prototype.

I always thought flats were just worn down rounds, bit like racing slicks started life as treaded tyres. No?

This can sound very sadly for somebody !!!
