3D Printing pickup covers

1995 Owen would be horrified, but I fancy a cream pickup cover. They are not available for my 5 string G&L MFD humbucker. Has anyone had any joy printing a cream pickup cover? I have never done any 3D printing so have no idea if this is easy peasy or it will come out looking like a primary school project. I am also presuming that it will be a matter of 3D scanning the present pickup cover. Again, is this a thing?

Martin Herrick will do this for you but it can cost around £40. He's got a few on eBay at the moment.

Send Martin a message telling him what you want and ask for a quote. 

I think it's his partner who does the 3D printing.
