I did a video shoot a couple of months ago.  It all seemed preposterous at the time, but the end result is decent enough.

It was allot of work and the lights were hot. The pros are doing all the editing.

The end result should be interesting.

We were in a place in east London, called the Engine Room.  It's a live venue/rehearsal space that operates out of a very unglamorous railway arch on the edge of a tired business estate.

Saw a mates band there in that really hot summer of 2003, it was like a sauna in there.

The lights were hot and we did the song performance around 12 or 13 times.

Picture with no past and no future, video - 0,00-5,00 minutes or more.

My interpretation would be... Live vid, a straight recording of the band playing thru a song..

.. A video shoot would be a film version with lots of shots and angles cut in and edited etc, along to a backing track, not a live recording..

By your definition ours was a video shoot.

I had no idea what I was doing .  All those cameras pointed at me from different angles one take after the other.

I wonder how much of me will  be in the finished product ?

Do you guys want to hear the song we did the video for or wait for the video.

Blue

I’d say let’s wait so we get the whole package, so to speak

I think @niloriusmeant that a photo of the video shoot is not the video, and we're seeing photos but not the video.

English is not his first language so sometimes things get misunderstood.

I'm looking forward to seeing the finished video. 👍

Really enjoyed this - great song! How cool is your frontman! (and bass, obvs)

One question: the guy standing on top of the girder bridge - was all of that stock footage or was it filmed just for your video? If so, what sort of permissions / licences / H&S checks were needed - it looks great visually but also complex to set up.
