Replacement Necks

I have a 60s Vintera P, but I'm wondering if I'd get on better with a slimmer neck, so thinking about putting a jazz neck on it. 

 

I'm having a hard time working out how easy this is to do. "ideally" I'd just get a Vintera Jazz neck with a maple fretboard and shove it on the P, but 1) that would cost £400 and 2) I don't know if it would fit. 

 

Do "all" Fender necks fit on "all" Fender bodies? 

 

Any other recommendations for a good quality J neck?

Should fit just fine…might be a tiny bit gappy in the pocket just because the neck taper is a little more severe (64.5mm to 42 Vs 64.5 to 38mm) - but it’s a close as you’ll get.

I don’t believe they are all completely interchangeable but I could be wrong.
