Hi,

I'm offering this absolutely mint Lakland Joe Osborn up for sale/trade.

 

The bass was made in 2003, but has only been used for a couple of hours over it's life as it was part of an enormous private collection and the owner had more Laklands than he could possibly play. Hence this gem has sat in it's case for 99% of it's life and has no wear whatsoever.

 

This one is one of the very sought after Made ik Korea models with the Lindy Fralin pickups.

It also is one of the most lightweight Lakland basses i've ever laid my hands on weighing it at just 4.04kg (more recent models usually come in at 4.5kg. or more).

 

I recently got this in a trade from a Lakland collector with a very impressive collection including a couple of other JO's, hence it's as new condition despite being 20 years old.

The frets were polished to give them back their shine and as the bass was still wearing the factory strings I gave her a set-up with a fresh set of Fender flatwounds.

 

All in all a lovely bass with the best fretwork in the business and I would'nt mind keeping her,

but as I've been having serious G.A.S. for a Pbass with Jazz bass neck for a while now I'm putting this up for grabs in an effort to cure my G.A.S.

Found out I can get a pretty decent 'Pbass with flats-sound' by dialing out the bridge pu and tone completely. I'm seriously considering keeping her now.
