Are there any production 32” basses around with a jazz width nut? Preferably something fast playing and passive with at least one humbucking PU selection. There seem to be a lot of shorties these days and the Acinonyx looks interesting but the tighter spacing at the bridge and the looser E puts me off somewhat.

The Squier Affinity Jag is 32” scale and has a 38mm nut width.

Cheers, might be a good mod platform. I thought those were 30” for some reason! I actually have a full scale jag as well.

This is also true for the current Squier Jaguar Classic  Vibe.
The neck on mine is great for me.

I am considering getting a Mezzo. What's the approximate weight?

Just weighed one if my 5 strings and it's 3.3kg or 7lb 6oz in old money.

I would imagine the 4 strings would be a bit lighter.

One of mine is a tiny bit over 7lb. The other is about 8lb

They vary quite a bit so if you buy new, ask the shop to weigh it first if weight is an issue for you (as it is for me).
