lidl e
Am i wrong here or is this fella being ridiculous in his pricing? To me, youre selling used pedals that are fairly common, you take a third off the retail price with room to wiggle. How do you figure out what to sell for? I mean obviously you check what they sell for elsewhere, right? This dude is barely dropping. He's asking 275 for a C4 when they are 315 new here. (In euros) https://touch.adverts.ie/bass-effects/bass-effects-pedals/30428938 (I am in no way affiliated with this ad. I did make an offer on one of his pedals. I offered 220 for the C4. A very reasonable offer i thought) Edited June 12, 2023 by lidl e
lidl e
Hes selling the mxr and the tc looper for more than you can get it new (looper has been replaced by new model, but can still get old one) That bass whammy is 15 quid more new on thomann. Little savings on that darkglass and the valtone is same price as new on thomann. Edited June 12, 2023 by lidl e
Lightlyseared
The days of used bargain pedals is long gone, 90% of new price for pedals still in production seems common now.
lidl e
90% for obtainable pedals in production? Never! That is ridiculous. Who would pay that? A cog effects anything, a noble preamp, an octabvre all are understandable. But a digitech bass whammy or a valeton dapper? No way.
Waddo Soqable
Sounds like the blokes a dreamer to me, they simply won't sell unless he finds someone very naive.. I'd expect a very decent reduction from the new price for s/h stuff.

I agree, there’s nothing rare or hyped there!

fretmeister
I suspect he's told his wife that as promised he has listed them for sale and he hopes to get a decent offer for them. Now he's sitting back confident they will never sale. I've never done that of course. Oh no. 🤫 Anyway - there is no point worrying about it. He can set whatever price he wants. The buyers will decide if it sells or not. 1
MrDinsdale
90% for a readily available pedal seems mad even if brand new condition but ultimately they're entitled to list it for whatever they feel it's worth. I think the most I've paid for a pedal relative to its retail value was £210 for the Model FeT which retailed at £259. That was out of stock everywhere at the time and impossible to get without importing it so i was happy to pay that and avoid the 6-9 month wait.
lidl e
Not an effect, but look at this fella. I had to say something. He doesn't even know what it is. https://touch.adverts.ie/bass-accessories/vintage-leo-quan-badass-mk-i-bridge-for-fender-gibson-rickenbacker-bass/30523251
