Hi all, I've had my P-bass for nearly 25 years now, owned from new, and I'm wondering how worn frets need to be to require any attention. Below are a couple of shots of the first fret, but I'm not sure if this is OK to keep playing (I've not noticed any issues) or if a fret dress might be worthwhile at some point, or if it's actually worn to the point of needing replacement. Any thoughts?

Definite case for buying a new bass. 😜

Of course, this one isn't worth much in it's current state, so you'd best keep it as a backup...

Wouh, that's bad, man, you would need a new bass, a new amp, a new wife, and quite possibly a new hip bone as well, to fix that!

Which is in fact the correct Basschat response

I'm of the opinion that it's beyond saving...send it to me, I'm having an outdoor fire - I'll burn it for you. 😉😉

Sod that, it's over 25 years old so it's vintage 🤣
