BassAgent Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 Somehow, within a period of 6 months I went from 1 gold bass to three. And I really like it. Soooo let's dedicate a topic to gold basses! From left to right: Fender Custom Shop '64 Jazz (shoreline gold), De Gier Bebop 5 (pharaoh gold), Lakland US Joe Osborn (shoreline gold). So technically, the Lakland and the Fender are the same colour. 12 Quote
Old Horse Murphy Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 Nice! I only have one gold bass at present. 6 Quote

Grahambythesea Posted August 10, 2023 Posted August 10, 2023 No doubt there’ll be plenty of Gold JCs to come, so I’ll get in first with my Peerless Bassmaster Player. 4 Quote

BassAgent Posted October 9, 2023 Author Posted October 9, 2023 The Lakland, hands down. Best Jazz Bass I've ever owned. And I've owned a lot. 1 Quote
Jaybeevee Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 Good answer... I own a USA JO from 2007, and i haven't owned many Jazz basses (this is my second).. but yeah, i think its killer... I also own a De Gier soulmate (which is almost Gold) which is really why i asked,, i'm really curious about the Bebop. Likely great too.. Quote

I love Stingrays but always prefer the sound of a Sterling Edited October 9, 2023 by Delberthot 3 Quote
