Riverbassman65
Greetings from the lovely Thousand Islands on the beautiful St. Lawrence river in upstate New York. I thought it’d be nice to join your august group and see how my cousins across the pond groove!

ezbass
You’ve taken me right back to my childhood there, @Riverbassman65, I remember repeatedly reading a book about the St Lawrence river in the library. 10 minutes ago, Riverbassman65 said: the gits in my country. 😂 Nice to see that the epithet ‘gits’ is in use so far from these shores. Kudos!
Riverbassman65
Ezbass, glad I could bring back memories! oh, I love British slang. When I was an exchange officer to the Canadian Army I hung out with many expats and found the best expressions! I also love plonker! 6 minutes ago, ezbass said: You’ve taken me right back to my childhood there, @Riverbassman65, I remember repeatedly reading a book about the St Lawrence river in the library. msb
Welcome ! Plonk here is usually an inexpensive wine. I’ve cut back a lot but still appreciate the occasional glass …
