Good bass workshop in South London (SW or Central London)

Hey folks. I'm looking for a shop with good reputation/recommendation to replace the electronics in my Warwick (basically replace pre/pickups, see the thread below).

The workshop I usually go is in North London and lately has just taken too long to get things done, so looking for something closer to home.

 

Would love any recommendations!

Charlie Chandlers for SW. replaced the pups on my Fender P bass to Lindy Fralins.

Charlie Chandlers generally seem to get glowing feedback on the internet, despite not being bass specific.  I'm probably going to take a few bits of guitar kit to them to sell on consignment next month.

I had a relatively poor experience with Charlie Chandlers (pickups wired in back to front, bass came back filthy) but I'm a fan of Richmond Guitar Workshop if that's not too far to go. Andrew who works there does all the bass stuff.

He maintained all my basses before I moved away, did some electronic transplants, and set up one of my basses that was nigh-on unplayable so that it's now pretty much the best-playing bass that I own!

If you can get to Orpington I strongly recommend Jimi at Planet Guitar he's worked on my basses for years. Nicest bloke you'll ever meet too.

For other people's future reference – I went to Feline and it was a phenomenal experience. Jonathan got stuff done in 2 days am I couldn't be happier with the service. Recommended!
