40hz Posted July 2, 2023 Posted July 2, 2023 (edited) I recently purchased some DR Fatbeams from Amazon (through DR's Amazon store) and also dispatched by Amazon, so the real thing. Opened the set up today 2-3 weeks later, and not only was the A-String completely and utterly dead (to the point it didn't even sound like a bass string at all) but they packaged two G strings instead of a D (so, E-A-G-G). Absolutely woeful QC - I've never had a bad string in 20 years until today! When it rains, it pours! Edited July 2, 2023 by 40hz Quote
fretmeister Posted July 2, 2023 Posted July 2, 2023 I think Amazon will still take a return that late. 1 Quote

fretmeister Posted July 2, 2023 Posted July 2, 2023 As their boxes are easy open I wonder if an Amazon warehouse employee has been mucking about a bit. Quote
