I stopped using a tuner pedal (Arion) a few years ago, preferring a Snark clip on tuner now.

More convenient, just as accurate and one less lead to worry about.

One. Behringer because it does the job and is cheap, but I don't especially like it.

I like the TC Electronic Polytune. I used to have the BOSS TU-2 and it was great but the TC is smaller & lighter, plus it matches with my TC Clip-on tuner.

I've never owned a tuner in pedal form. Apart from my first tuner - a Boss TU-12 - all my other tuners have been either rack mounted or part of another device. Currently I use the tuner in my Helix.

Helix tuner has a huge display and is excellent. And it comes free with the helix board, so a relative bargain.

Which mode are you using it in?

20+ years and still going strong. For the first decade and a bit, I just used to tune by ear 😂

Which mode

Didn't know there were modes!

I just press the tuner button and up it pops, with note letter in the middle and arrows either side...

You will start seeing modes when battery is full, low or practically out.

But it's mains powered?

So, You got to wait when aliens will come and start to play with a world electricity net.

I’ve had quite a few, i like a large clear display so quite a long time back I bought one of these for not much money and its been great, a new one came up on eBay so I bought it for a spare , I was going to buy one of the expensive ones but this does the job well

It's one of the parameters available when the tuner is active. You change it using the "Type" control. I have mine set to "Strobe" as I've found it the easiest to use on stage. There's even an option to use the tuner pedal to route the signal through an external tuner. However I found that the Helix one was just as accurate as the Peterson StroboRack that I was using previously.

I'm not loyal so have had everything from clip on to built in to the amp through to Boss and Polytune. I know some people favour certain brands but they all sound perfectly serviceable to me.
