neepheid Posted July 5, 2023 Posted July 5, 2023 Boss TU-2. Had it for at least 15 years. Will probably get a TU-3 if it ever dies. Quote

LowB_FTW Posted July 5, 2023 Posted July 5, 2023 TIL that tuner pedals are a thing. Never heard of them until now. Mark Quote
casapete Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 I stopped using a tuner pedal (Arion) a few years ago, preferring a Snark clip on tuner now. More convenient, just as accurate and one less lead to worry about. Quote
Guest Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 One. Behringer because it does the job and is cheap, but I don't especially like it. Quote
Steve Browning Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 I have a Korg in my amp rack but have a Peterson Stomp on the board with my switcher unit. Quote
Doctor J Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 20+ years and still going strong. For the first decade and a bit, I just used to tune by ear 😂 Quote
Lozz196 Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 I like the TC Electronic Polytune. I used to have the BOSS TU-2 and it was great but the TC is smaller & lighter, plus it matches with my TC Clip-on tuner. 1 Quote
BigRedX Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 I've never owned a tuner in pedal form. Apart from my first tuner - a Boss TU-12 - all my other tuners have been either rack mounted or part of another device. Currently I use the tuner in my Helix. Quote
Leonard Smalls Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Helix tuner has a huge display and is excellent. And it comes free with the helix board, so a relative bargain. 😁 Quote

Reggaebass Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 I’ve had quite a few, i like a large clear display so quite a long time back I bought one of these for not much money and its been great, a new one came up on eBay so I bought it for a spare , I was going to buy one of the expensive ones but this does the job well 1 Quote

You change it using the "Type" control. I have mine set to "Strobe" as I've found it the easiest to use on stage. There's even an option to use the tuner pedal to route the signal through an external tuner. However I found that the Helix one was just as accurate as the Peterson StroboRack that I was using previously. 1 Quote
MacDaddy Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 If I'm not using a clip on, or a multi fx, this: Quote
Cat Burrito Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 I'm not loyal so have had everything from clip on to built in to the amp through to Boss and Polytune. I know some people favour certain brands but they all sound perfectly serviceable to me. Quote
Moose Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 I use the tuner built in to my Zoom B1 Four. I used to use a TC clip-on but had difficulty seeing it in bright sunlight. Quote
asingardenof Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 I use a Donner DT Deluxe (not sure there's anything particularly "deluxe about it though...) because it was cheap and does the job. Quote
