Bass gear mag.........................

Has anyone else had problems getting their copy of Bass Gear Mag posted to them.
I had the first edition in September last year and subscribed by Paypal. I noticed a few months back that the second edition was now out. I emailed them and got a nice reply saying leave it a few more weeks and we will post out another copy.......nothing arrived so I email them twice with NO REPLY.

Have they gone the way of the credit crunch and disappeared into the darkness ??

No - the issue is in WHSmith. It's the first copy I've flicked through and decided just not to bother with.

Bloody typical ......... Paid them £30 and got just one edition. They're not having another penny from me. Glad to here it was crap.

Rant over with............now I can get on with my Bank holiday.

I've had exactly the same experience with them.

I actually quite liked the copy I received but $50 for one edition makes it the most expensive magazine I've ever bought

No problem here. I've had both issues. The first seemed to take an awful long time to arrive considering I started subscribing after it had been published, but the Issue 2 arrived very swiftly. If you're getting no joy via email how about PM'ing Tom Bowlus on TalkBass?

Well the free version is a nightmare to read! But maybe I should pay for the pdf...

... and it crashes every browser known to Man ....
I was trying to read something I spotted on page 16 yesterday using IE, Firefox, Opera and Safari .. Regular huge delays in paging forward and eventually they all froze up ..
Hardly a good sign.

I like printed matter. You can take it and read it anywhere.

Digital stuff is simply too ephemeral. I don't have any downloaded music for the same reason.
