Pickups - pair in wooden covers £30 Birmingham

I was given these in a trade deal ages ago and promptly lost them. I came across them today whilst having a sort out.

 

I know nothing about them, other than they’re for a 6 string bass.

 

They measure 11.5cm x 3.5cm. They’re in pretty good condition.

I don’t know. I can’t even remember who I got them off to ask. They seem pretty nicely made.

Nice...how difficult is it to remove the covers? I'd want them (only) for my Spector, currently at the Tech's having a new pre fitted.

Without taking them apart I honestly don’t know. I have neither the skills or the tools to do that, and my dad’s hidden his hammer from me.

 

Someone with the skills and tools could do it I guess, but wouldn’t they need to build a new case for them to sit in?

I reckon you might have got them off of me, and I got them from @Hellzero...

 

@TheGreek - I'd say for £30 they're well worth the punt. I doubt anyone would spend the time and effort to make bespoke wooden covers from what looks like nice quilt maple if they were poor quality.

Sounds about right to me! Never personally used them, not sure if Mr Hellzero did...

So these are definitely Bossa pickups and these are excellent pickups that I used to try at the time.
