Toddy
Hi Gang,,,, Have heard OLP mentioned a few times on here,,, I know where there is a brand new Tony Levin Sig for just a tab over £200,,, havent plugged it in ,,,but seems to play really well.. Should I snap this one up?????
Rayman
Good basses. I have one as a backup for my Overwater for gigs. Definately worth the money. The only issues I had with mine were a noisey treble pot and a lousy nut. Once sorted out it's a cracking bass. Surprisingly powerful bottom end on mine. OutToPlayJazz
Nice enough bass. I think I know the one you mean. It's the natural one at "AM", isn't it? It's been sitting gathering dust at the shop for a while now. Only thing I didn't like about it was the incredibly narrow string spacing. Something silly like 15mm. Machines
Watch out for a noisy preamp - otherwise it'll be great.

I'd like an OLP MM32 (5-string HH model). So yeah, buy it. They retailed for about £320 new I saw once. If anything it's active so it's ripe for mod ideas. BottomEndian
[quote name='OutToPlayJazz' post='478935' date='May 4 2009, 12:52 PM']...incredibly narrow string spacing. OutToPlayJazz
Yeah, I'm used to playing 5-strings with 18mm string spacing, so it was like trying to play bass on a Stratocaster!
