jay bass
The weight of a bass on your shoulder for a 2 hour show is something to consider. i notice a difference afterwards depending on which bass i have used. probably a age thing . i never thought about it in my younger days , , but as i get older it is something i now consider . its not the reviewers opinion its the actual weight of the bass i was interested in. Weight has it's place but balance is more important. I've a P-bass comes in just under 6lbs, it's really uncomfortable to play due to lousy balance. That's all very well, but I think I might be arrested if I turned up for a gig with a headless baby boy.

Hard to pick a favorite but if I see the TB-70 hanging up somewhere, I'll jump on it. The TB-70 sure is one hell of a bass, as are any of the Harley Bentons. My personal HB collection Harley Benton JB-75MN NA Harley Benton MM-84A Harley Benton PB-50 (Replacement gold pickguard) Harley Benton TB-70 SBK I'll probably pickup the other 2 SBK models to go with the TB-70 Edited August 15, 2023 by Fullmoon1971 spelling

Nice photos, too...I'm not a fan of all those "bass sitting in its stand" photos. I just don't like the unnecessary, cluttered background. Delberthot
I finally made up my mind and decided to go with the Enhanced MP-5MN as I've been hankering after a 5 string and a bass with a reverse P pickup.

Copy of a very nice Sandberg I think. Which is one of the better 5-strings out there. Weird that Fender got the p back to front... Sandberg and the odd Yamaha got it the right way round imo.
