Safari push notifications won't enable (16.5.2 MacOS 12.6.7)

Question

Posted

I've been trying to enable push notifications in Safari - the preferences in Safari say they're enabled (the browser prompted OK) but the site just gets stuck at "enabling...". I've tried via the popup on the notifications bell pop-over, and via the notifications settings - both just hang there and don't say the feature is enabled.

Any ideas?

Yeah I had that a few times, and found that restarting my phone worked; however upon restarting I suddenly had four BC 'apps' on my screen... but the notifications worked and only came through once.
