henry norton
Has anyone tried the Schaller (232 I think) bass humbucker? It's a bit old school but I need a narrow bridge humbucker for my old school bass. Any opinions gratefully received.
geoffbyrne
Looks identical to a DiMarzio Model 1 - anyone know? G.
neepheid
It's smaller than a Model One. It's roughly guitar humbucker sized, give or take a mm. Mounting is also similar, with threaded holes in lugs protruding from the bottom edges, expecting to be mounted with springs either into a pickguard or a mounting ring. I fixed up a Gibson Ripper recently which had one of these at the bridge.
