Velvet blues - value?

I recently picked up a bass with the well regarded Velvet Blues on there. No idea of age, but they feel fairly new.

 

They’re not what I normally use and as this is an EUB I need something that replicates my proper upright (Spirocores basically).

 

Does anyone have an idea of value for the second hand market?

Velvet Blues were the 'budget' option in the Velvet catalogue - about £180 a set IIRC.

I reckon that someone who really wants a set would happily pay £100 to replace an expired set of Blues, but as Velvet strings have been closed for 3 years, there can't be many players still using Velvet strings as you really only get 2-3 years out of them (IME) before they noticeably lose their tone.

Cool. That’s more than I thought. These are still fairly bright sounding, but not for me.

If they've been on an EUB, I'd want to be sure they hadn't been cut to length, and don't have any kinks in unusual places before reusing them on double bass.
