mybass
Has anyone been using Goldo parts from Germany on basses and have they found a difference for better or not so over other 'established' names like Schaller, Hipshot etc?
spacecowboy
I’ve used their bridges before, the adjustable 3D style ones, solid enough if a little lightweight, it does it’s job very well for its price point. Can’t beat a Schaller 3D roller bridge though!
fleabag
Schaller 3D rollers are the dogs' danglies. I have 2 basses fitted with those.

Do you find the rollers "creep" over time? I found I needed to use Threadlock on the one I had. Nicely made bridge, though.
fleabag
No, mine seem to stay put.

The Schaller 3D will move when changing strings if you inadvertently pull the string across the roller…

I'm quite tempted to bust out the dremel and turn one into a top loader...

mybass
I am leaning towards reuniting with the Schaller 3D in black but crikey, prices (and availability) have changed!
