I'm about 20 minutes from where Colin usually puts it on and about ten minutes from @cetera.  Usually pick up Andy @Wolverinebass en route as well.

Just to let you all know that there won't be a SE Bass Bash this year. We're currently considering the possibility of doing something in the Spring of next year instead.

I would ordinarily react with sad face to this, but in all honesty, my November was looking pretty congested with gigs so I'm kinda glad that it's on the move.  Can I say that if a spring bash does go ahead, the sooner you can fix a date the better it would be for me - I would really love to attend but the gigging bassist has to plan around these things and the sooner I can block it off in the band calendar, the better.  Venues already starting to ask us about dates for next year...

Good news for me as attendance would be difficult if not impossible for me over the next 2 to 3 months.

Spring could become crowded with hopefully the return of a Midlands Bash,  and a very likely Northern one as well.

 

The Midlands one can be any time though. May works, but July probably would too.
