Fender Original ('62) Precision Pickup vs Fender Custom '62 Precision Pickup

Can anyone tell me the tonal difference between these? Or is the 'Custom '62' just the new name for what was the old 'Original'? At a higher price 😅. Details of each below. Thanks, Ian

The Fender Original to me had a spike in the upper mids that I just couldn’t get rid of, I couldn’t say what frequency but it was just there all the time.

 

The Custom Shop 62 is bulkier in the low mids, prob around 400hz or so, a warm rich sounding pickup.

For me the Fender Original 62 was better than the CS62

 

I was after better low end definition and clarity and this worked for me playing finger style with my Player Series P 

I tried the CS62 but found it too dark
