Vanheusen77
Hello! I made this short comparison, and of course a poll for anyone who is interested:
Reggaebass
I like them both really ,but for the type of music you was playing the Sandberg has the edge for me, and nice playing

Raj_Shredder
Today, it’s the Yamaha for me. Tomorrow could be different though. They both sound great. Enjoy. Edited August 21, 2023 by Raj_Shredder
javi_bassist
Your videos are always great and I always enjoy them! I must admit that, even though I am a Yamaha fan, in this video, the Sandberg sounded a little bit better for me. But probably in a mix, the Yamaha would win (I have a Fender jazz bass that I love but, when it comes to play with other people, my Yamaha is a better choice). I'd also pick the Yamaha because I really really want a BBP34 in that colour
Lozz196
I preferred the warmer more depth tones of the Yamaha
warwickhunt
Nice, like them both. Oddly I reckon the less bottom heavy Sandberg would work better in my band setting as the mids/up over would cut through but in isolation and take the Yamaha.
fretmeister
I like both - for the finger style I liked the Sandberg better, but the Yamaha for the slap. Can't got wrong with either then! I play more fingerstyle than slap so for that reason the TT4 edges it for me.
fretmeister
When you get bored.... stick some Ernie Ball Group iv Flats on that TT4 - match made in heaven!
Guest
Great videos although I think you'd make a broomstick sing. I'd love to see you with one of either the Stingray or the BBP34 or the Sandberg TT pitched against a budget instrument; pick a Sire, a Squier or a Cort. It would stop me thinking that if buy the TT or the BBP then it would magically make me a better musician. Thanks for these. Always a great watch. I have tried the ”cheaper” versions of these and the difference in sound is minimal. Slightly more of a difference in feeling but still not much of a difference. I’m probably not keeping both of these btw which is why I wanted to test them.
