hiram.k.hackenbacker Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 Ah man, that’s sad. What a player. RIP Bernie. Quote
toneknob Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 That early Whitesnake is amazing. RIP Bernie. Quote
2pods Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 I didn't know he was in bad health, or was it sudden ? Either way, a bloody shame Quote
pbasspecial Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 That’s sad if it’s true, which it probably my is 😢 Used to have all the albums when I was much, much younger. Quote
alant Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 He lived locally to me although I didn't know him personally, a couple of my friends did. RIP Bernie. Quote
jezzaboy Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 (edited) I followed Bernie on facebook and in the last couple of clips that were posted, he didn`t look good. A sad loss to the music world and his family of course. If there is some kind of after life, I hope he`s up there with his great friend Cozy Powell making a racket. White Cloud Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 Gutted at this news. I was a big fan of Bernie during the 'good Whitesnake' era 😢 1 Quote

Cozy was best man at Bernie’s wedding. 1 Quote
franzbassist Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 This hit me hard. Bernie was one of my heroes when I was in my teens, and I saw him a few times when he was in Alaska, the Moody Marsden Band, and solo of course. Great player, but above all a kind, generous and humble human being. No age too Rest in Peace Bernie. Thank you for the music. 1 Quote
