Andy_L
Hi, does anyone know of a piece of (ideally free) software that would allow me to enter a chord name and have the notes appear on a sheet-music style scale? Hope this makes sense and isn't too obvious: I had a quick look on Google but didn't find what I was looking for. Thanks, Andy PS mods if you feel this should have been posted elsewhere apologies and feel free to move it Edited August 31, 2023 by Andy_L
neepheid
Tuxguitar is clunky as all hell, but it is free and once you figure out how to use it, you can enter a chord and it will insert the notes onto a staff (and in tab)

pineweasel
Steinberg’s Dorico will do this: https://steinberg.help/dorico/v4/en/dorico/topics/write_mode/write_mode_arranging_tools/write_mode_notes_generating_from_chord_symbols_t.html There’s a free version you can try
