Just read the news, Jimmy Buffet has passed away. One of the most fun gigs I ever went to in London.

Was a huge Buffet fan. Great musician who would just pop into a bar and start singing…

Not well known in uk perhaps, but a big name in certain circles. RIP, 76 is too soon.

In no way a Jimmy Buffet fan, but where I work (as an NHS Radiographer in a Cardiac Catheter Laboratory) I’m always at the mercy of other people’s playlists, and I used to work with a Cardiologist who was a massive JB fan - this will always take me back:

 

 

 

I did like the fact that most of his songs were about boozing.......🥃

We’ve done this song in our country band for over 10 years, always gets the punters up.

Great tune, usually the last of the set.
