Someone's made a replica of Gene Simmons' legendary lost LoBue bass from the 70s and blimey, who'd have thunk a Mudbucker in bridge position would sound so good?

Exactly! I expected burpy 16th-note hell from that pickup position, and instead it absolutely roars!

You mean, you don't have to hit it so hard? 😁

To be fair, the video is an attempt to recreate the early KISS sound, so aggression, pick and slightly farty distortion are the way to go.
