Very small DI

Looking for suggestions for a very small DI for under my board. Smallest I can find is a Radial Stagebug at 34mm but that’s cutting it fine. I don’t actually need a DI as it’s a balanced out from my effects unit but I always like having one or a line isolator.

Orchid designs do a Micro DI. Only downside is that there's no Thru on this version.

UK based and they can do any custom shop elements too.

They look great but 40mm, so too big. I reckon I might be on a unicorn hunt!

Do you need it to be passive? Or is phantom powered OK? I'm guessing battery is out due to the size?
I'll thrown in the Fischer mini DI... you need smaller than that? Cos you could be out of luck if you are!

Rolls make one that isn't square but it is TINY, like you would mistake it for a box for spare fuses.

Not quite as simple as that!

I built the same transformer to a round Neutrik XLR - jack connector set. But as commented earlier, no through jack. Therfore this is usable with double output pedals like with a stereo chorus.

There's the Triton Audio ones, but like the SE mentioned above they are cylinders. I have one of these that I put into a 1590a but you could go much smaller if you wanted.

These Orchid electronics DI’s are fantastic for the money - if you do some Googling you’ll find loads of good reviews, I’ve used their DI for various stuff over the years including recording and it’s up there with Radial JDI etc
