Joyo Double Thruster. Anyone got one?

I seem to be on a quest to collect drive pedals (again).

 

Has anyone got a Double Thruster? Is it a clone of the B3K or a bit different?

 

I've only had 1 Joyo before - the excellent Vintage Overdrive tubescreamer tribute.

As with many of Joyo's clones I don't think it's a perfect 1:1 clone, but rather Joyo's own take of the Darkglass pedal.

 

That said I have only heard great things about it.

 

I am seriously pondering on getting their Monomyth bass preamp.

Mine just arrived.

 

I like it! It’s not as high gain as the B3K and the overall character is slightly different, but for £50, can’t go wrong!

I use mine as an always on pedal. It breaks up my sound just enough without losing the essential character of the bass.

It’s got a really annoying crackle noise.

It sounds great so I’ll go for a swap.

Rotten luck. I've bought any number of Joyo pedals and never had an issue, so I can only assume that you were very unfortunate. Hopefully the replacement is ok 🤞

I've had some older Joyo's without any problems. I'm sure it's just a one off.

 

It's a great sounding pedal otherwise.
